The last day of racing dawned with a heavy downpour , humid conditions and not a ripple on the water .
The Rib team from Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club didn't mind
This could be interesting
There was plenty of water splash
Fast reaches,
Standing tall
colour in abundance
crowded buoy roundings
sailing in synchro
resting between races for Josh
A fast start in Race Two
racing to the wing mark
Michael was still in form
there was midd pack chaos
until they sorted out a line to follow
there were gentleman sailors
there was a winners back flip by David Mann !
Phil was ready for the last run
the was no let up of pressure
the wind swung around ...
and it all started to look exciting
still they kept on coming
Chad showed us what athletic means !!
others followed suit
the whole fleet was looking classy !
the fleet kept on coming .. a little separated now
and so ends the 35th Splatt Lawyer Australian Impulse Nationals
We will look forward to Altona next year !
